Now there’s one less horror film to check out in cinemas this April guys, as the LA Times reports this morning, that Piranha 3-D has been bumped from it’s April 16th slot to a new TBA August spot. An official August date should be announced sometime before June I would suspect. Apparently Dimension is worried a new teen-oriented film called “Kick-Ass” will steal some of “Piranha 3-D”s audience on that date. “Piranha 3-D” stars Cody Longo, Rhames, Adam Scott, Dina Meyer, Jerry O’Connell, Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, and Richard Dreyfuss. In the film…they’re back! Every year the population of sleepy Lake Havasu explodes from 5,000 to 50,000 for a single, wild weekend – the 4th of July, a riot of sun, drunken fun and sex-crazed mayhem. But this year, there’s something more to worry about than hangovers and complaints from local old timers.
