Cody Mentioned in Ayla Kell Interview

Ayla Kell Interview: The Back Brace is “So Uncomfortable!”
-What’s coming up on “Make It or Break It” for “Payson”, now that she is sidelined with a serious back injury? High school of course (!), and we all know how rough that can be. We had the chance to chat with Ayla Kell, who plays “Payson”, and we found out what’s in store for her on the show.

SO-M: We’ve seen some flirting between Payson & Nicky (Cody Longo) recently. Are we going to see that turn into something more?
Ayla: It definitely does develop, but then, as always, something has to go wrong. I’m not going to blame anybody, but I’m definitely going to say it probably is Lauren’s fault because she messes up all relationships.

SO-M: Cody Longo, who plays Nicky, is actually Cassie Scerbo’s (Lauren) real life boyfriend. Was it awkward having to film romantic scenes with him?
Ayla: You know I really thought it would be and I actually told her, “Look, we’re so close, I don’t want this to be an issue.” And she was like, “There’s nobody else I would want it to be other than one of you girls, because I trust you guys so much.” She was there for most of the scenes that we were doing. The whole big kiss thing? She was there for that. It was weird at first, and then, it was like, eh, it’s Cassie. She’s cool.
