Biography

Cody A. Longo was born in Denver, Colorado. Having musicians and artists in his family, and growing up in a very artistic and musically inclined manner, Cody taught himself how to play the piano at a young age. He also started his acting career young doing stage, and studying theater.

Cody, later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, also continuing to study both theater and psychology.

Cody proved himself of being a hard worker while working with the musical “Wicked”. He started working on a few small films and guest stars before getting the role of Evan for the newest Bring It On movie in 2009. A few months after “Bring It On: Fight to the Finish” (2009) was released, Cody’s next film, starring in Fame (2009), which was released world wide in theaters. Cody had a recurring role on the popular ABC Family drama “Make It or Break It” (2009) as Nicky Russo. He also worked on the popular show “Brothers and Sisters” playing a Young Tommy, in which TV guide announced Cody’s character as one of the best flashback acting jobs on TV. Cody’s also starred in the independent movie called “High School” (2010) that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2010 with great reviews, and then co-starring in the huge summer thriller flick “Piranha 3D” (2010) which was released world wide in theaters August 2010. For about four months in 2010, Cody filmed and starred in “Not Today” (2011) in India, also composing a song with his band “Forever The Day” for the soundtrack. Then signed on to star as Young Isaac in the 2011 drama movie “For the Love of Money” which was shot in Los Angeles, and has recently signed onto CSI:NY recurring as the son of Sela Ward.

Throughout 2010, Cody started working with his Make It or Break It co-star and friend Johnny Pacar on a musical project which became known as the band Forever The Day. In August of 2010, the band released their first EP and a few months later, the band geared up for their first performances in Los Angeles. The band has had songs on soundtracks on the films “Not Today” and “Playback” in 2011. Cody continues to compose independently, and with the band as well during the off time from his acting career.
